It seems to be the experience of many deacons that in trying to juggle the duties of family, work, and ministry that not much time is left to fraternize with their deacon brothers. This area has been created in cyberspace for just that purpose until those times when they can gather together in person. It is a place to share what has been happening in their lives as well as the joys, frustrations, and questions of diaconal ministry. If you are not a deacon, please respect this.
Deacons who have registered as members of this BB are encouraged to post or view messages in ANY forum. All members are invited to share their thoughts and ideas. You can reply to others or start new threads of discussion.

This board does not accept open sign-ups. If you are a Catholic Deacon or in formation as such and would like to register, click on the REGISTER button above and follow the instructions. Prior to approval you will receive an email asking for your name, your diocese, your year of ordination and your current parish. Please allow up to 24 hours but the response should be much sooner. After you log in, you can edit your profile as you like (add a signature or avatar, different displayed name, etc.).
Run by deacons, for deacons, this is one of the few forums on the web devoted to Catholic diaconal ministry.
Created as a forum for the exchange of ideas among deacons and as a form of fellowship and support, this site is not affiliated with any deacon organizations and all viewpoints are welcome. We expect that any differences will be discussed in a spirit of fraternal charity. Please note that this site is strictly non-profit and generates no income for the administrator or the staff.
